Four related but separate WHO Phase IV projects are currently being conducted in Italy.
The National Co-ordinator of the four Italian projects is the Istituto Superiore della Sanità, Roma under the umbrella project PRISMA (Italian Project on Prevention, Identification and Strategies Management for Alcohol related problems). Dr Emanuele Scafato has been appointed as the National Supervisor of the three Italian projects.
