Despite robust evidence for the effectiveness of alcohol brief interventions, delivery remains low in global health systems. As such, recent research in this field has focused increasingly on the challenge of how best to encourage their delivery in routine clinical practice. As with other intervention fields, however, the outcomes used to assess these implementation efforts are currently defined in different ways and assessed by different measures. To allow us to synthesize and evaluate this evidence, there is a need to identify which implementation outcome measures are most appropriate for this field. Join this INEBRIA Implementation Outcomes in Alcohol Brief Intervention Research Workshop to hear more about ongoing efforts in this area and to learn how you can get involved in planned evidence reviews to move the field forward.
